What keeps us away from happiness?
- Our own perception of happines ( Linda believed happiness is in serving her community, while her partner David found happiness in his mechanics job)
- Our self define rules of happiness (Mary set a rule the day she lands in her dream job, she will be happy, on the other end ,her younger brother Joe settled for a daily dose of sunshine, a walk past the beach with his partner as his source of happiness)
- Our self define time period ,event or relation ( Judy should accept me the way I’am , Lucy should respect me for all I had done for her as a mother ,By end of this complex project ,the day I will own my dream car, house ,farm land or the target income)
Happiness is a state of being, and not a complicated theory requiring assistance to decipher, nor a quest to conquer.
Ask yourself, what is happiness for you?
You will be amazed to find simple answers to a profound question like this one
Happiness is a feeling, may not be the same for all, but we all have our meanings of it.
In reality, Happiness is a state we choose to be, a choice given to each one of us, aplenty!
A choice we make less use of.
